Our Story

VITTLES was set up by a team of pioneer staff of Cafe Cartel. They were responsible for the establishment of the first Café Cartel outlet along East Coast Road in 1997. Subsequently, the team was involved in the formation of other similar food outlets under different ownership. This team has been working together for varying periods for the past twenty years.

Denise, the leader of the team, is solely responsible for bringing VITTLES to fruition. Denise worked her way up the food chain from cook to F&B Consultant after obtaining her Diploma in SHATEC in 1986. She has gained vast experience with working stints at different hotels, Spinney’s International (Restaurant & Catering Establishment), French Bakery Chain – Delifrance, Singapore Recreation Club, The Coffee Connection and Pabulum (a modern lifestyle dining concept restaurant). She also provided F&B consultancy services to help clients in concept development and setting up of cafes and restaurants both locally and overseas. Denise and her team are confident of the outlet's success, as over the years, they have been able to detect and identify the desires and preferences of the consumer public and have, hence, been able to develop and tailor their menu with special emphasis on details to satisfy their customers' gastronomical desires! They also firmly believe that the cooperative spirit and vast experiences of all members of the team will enable VITTLES to make quick inroads into the highly competitive food arena.

The outlet has been operating for the past eight months and is already raking in customers from all over the island as more people come to know the great deal it offers! Many had even visited the outlet frequently and made the joint their favourite western food stop! This resounding endorsement is a good testimony to the quality of the food served at the outlet.
